Create the Perfect S’Mores Kit Coworkers Will Love

There are very few people in this world who don’t get at least excited over the idea of eating a s’mores. Maybe they have memories of sitting around a campfire as a child and eating them, or perhaps it is just simply the irresistible flavor; whatever the case is, a s’mores kit will make a great gift for coworkers. Now, don’t get any crazy ideas about bringing in a candle and a few forks so you can roast marshmallows over the flame either. Even if you have done it in the past, some things are better left for the privacy of your own home. However, you can actually create the perfect s’mores kit coworkers will love.

S’Mores Tower

For a really cool visual effect, buy three clear acetate boxes. You are going to essentially stack one on top of the other, so if you can find three that are slightly different sizes, they will make for a more appealing tower. The bottom box gets graham crackers, marshmallows go in the middle and the smallest box at the top gets the chocolate, since chocolate takes up less room. Use twine or decorative ribbon to secure the three boxes in place, and finish with a bow up top.

S’Mores Maker Complete Set

If you don’t mind buying the set rather than making it, Amazon has a s’mores maker that includes a ceramic base and body, which holds a can of chafing fuel. Cool grip forks are used to hold the marshmallows, and it even includes square graham cracker plates where you can assemble your s’mores. A flame snuffer is also included.

Gift Box

A great way to make your money go farther and still give everyone a gift is to buy small craft boxes with lids. They really do not need to be larger than 5 or 6 inches wide. Then, use cellophane bags and create a bag of chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows for each box. Add tissue paper to the box, place in the three bags and tie a ribbon around the box. It certainly does not hurt to decorate the boxes, if you have a little spare time. Markers, paint, material, felt, stickers, glitter or anything else you find at the craft store will help personalize each box.

Upscale Kit

The right ingredients and wrapping will change the entire dynamics of the treat. For the chocolate bars, you can buy gourmet of fair trade dark or white chocolate. Wrap each box in a posh wrapping paper. Gluten-free and kosher marshmallows can be put in food-safe bags. Michael’s craft store actually has some nice ones in their cake decorating isle. As for the graham crackers, choose a quality brand. Some bakeries even carry homemade ones that are pretty amazing. You can decorate a gift box and even create labels to put on the ingredients, so you can let the gift receiver know you put a little extra thought into the ingredients they are enjoying.

S’Mores Pops

If you feel like actually making something creative, you can make s’mores pops. Simply lay the graham crackers on a foil-lined cookie sheet and put chocolate chips on some and marshmallows on the others. Bake until the chocolate is melting and the marshmallows are browning. Then, when you stick them together, you will put a lollipop stick in them. Put these in the freezer for about 10 minutes, and then dunk them in chocolate and set them on wax paper so the chocolate can harden. Feel free to sprinkle crushed graham crackers or sprinkles in the chocolate for decoration.

Then you will use bags and seal them closed with ribbon tied into a bow. You can place a few s’mores pops in a coffee mug, wicker basket or gift box. This is also a great gift for coworkers, if you are just handing out cards, but you want to attach something a little different than a candy cane.
